Your agreement with us
Your signature or the signature of your officer or other authorised party.
Is your warranty that the person signing on your behalf is duly authorised to do so.
Is your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and your acknowledgment that you have received a copy thereof before signature.
Creates a legally binding Agreement between you and us which incorporates these Terms and Conditions and the information included in the Application Form.
All our vehicles operate under a Section 19 small bus permit, meaning organisations or groups must be none profit making so benefiting communities in the Stockport and surrounding area. Use of our vehicles and any activities surrounding there use, should not be used directly or indirectly for any activities with a view to profit.
Bookings
Bookings which are cancelled by you may incur a cancellation charge, (particularly bookings using our driver) generally we require 48 hours notice, anything less, a cancellation fee of £25 will be charged.
Payment
Charges will be invoiced and unless other arrangements have been made with us are payable within 30 days of the invoice date.
Payment can be made by cheque or BAC’s.
In respect of sums which are overdue, we will charge statutory interest under the provisions of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act which presently is 12.5%.
Liability
Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that bookings are adhered to, we cannot accept any financial liability if bookings are canceled for reasons beyond our control.
Easy go Community Transport cannot accept liability for any consequential loss incurred by groups/individuals as a result of a vehicle breakdown or vehicle/equipment malfunction.
When using the vehicle with your own driver
– It will only be driven by the nominated driver.
– You take care of the vehicle and use it in a responsible manner for the purposes for which it is intended.
– When parking the vehicle, even for a short period, you lock it and never leave the vehicle unoccupied with the keys in the ignition.
– Never drive the vehicle under the influence of alcohol drugs or any other narcotic substance.
– Do not transport any inflammable, dangerous or hazardous goods.
– Is your agreement that you will use your best endeavours to ensure that none of your members smoke, eat or drink while on any Vehicle?
– Your driver is acting on behalf of the Easy go Community Transport and is fully insured under our insurance policy.
Your group will be liable for any offence committed while using the bus and meet all fines where your own driver is used.
Parking charges and Toll charges incurred will be met by your group and not Easy go Community Transport.
If we find any property which has been left in the Vehicle and this property has not been reclaimed within 7 days or in the case of perishable goods 48 hours, we reserve the right to dispose of it.
It is a condition of carriage that seat belts and other safety equipment provided by Easy go Community Transport must be worn and used unless a medical exemption certificate is shown. Our Drivers are instructed to refuse carriage to those found not to be wearing an appropriate belt, if a passenger fails to wear a belt we accept no responsibility for any injury caused.
If as a result of the actions of your members the Vehicle needs more than our standard valeting when it returns then any additional work required will be charged to you and you hereby agree to pay such costs as are reasonable.
We accept no responsibility for any damage to or loss of any property belonging to your members while they are in our vehicle unless such loss or damage was caused by us
